The new OMEGA HGMP series miniature low noise connectors are designed to provide easy connection of ground wires to probes and extension wires. The drain wire of a 20 AWG twisted shield cable or the shield of the overbraided wire is crimped and held in place by the HGMPs internal hardware. The HGMPs have excellent thermal and electrical characteristics to assure high accuracy. Each connector includes HCP-S and HCP-HGMP write-on windows for connector face and edge. An external ground strap GS-GMP is available to maintain the electrical connection of the ground wire and strengthen the mechanical link between connectors.
HGMP connectors are also designed for use with Pt100 and thermistors, select uncompensated type U.
Front and side labels are included with each HGMP connector. A GS-GMP grounding strap can be placed in place of the side labels. Grouding strap maintains the electrical contact of the connector shield (ordered separately).
